FAQ: About Our SLP Team

Q1: What training and credentials do your therapists have?

A: All our therapists are registered Speech-Language Pathologists, hold master’s level credentials, and are in good standing with ACSLPA. Many have additional training in specialty areas (motor speech, early language, literacy, etc.).

Q2: How do you match me with an SLP?

A: Once you complete the online intake form we aim to pair your child with the therapist best suited to support their goals. We consider your child’s age, communication needs, location, and therapy style preferences when making a match.

Q3: Do you have specialists for different speech / language challenges?

A: Yes. Some of our SLPs specialize in motor speech disorders (including apraxia), others have deep experience in expressive and receptive language delay, speech sound disorders, literacy, executive functioning, or early talkers.

Q4: How many years of experience does your team have?

A: Our team includes therapists with many years in both clinical and school-based settings, early intervention, and specialized diagnostics — bringing both breadth and depth of experience.

Q5: Can I meet the therapist before starting therapy?

A: Absolutely. We offer a free initial 15 minute consultation that takes place over Zoom or via phone call so you can get to know the therapist, ask questions, and feel confident before beginning regular sessions.

Q6: Is therapy done mostly in your office?

A: We do not have a physical office space. We provide therapy in home, in community or a combination, depending on what’s most comfortable and effective for your child. We believe practicing in real-world settings helps generalize skills.
